Under the Australian regulatory framework, a Wholesale Client generally refers to an investor who meets certain eligibility criteria, such as having net assets of more than AUD 2.5 million, annual income exceeding AUD 250,000 for each of the past two financial years, relevant investment experience, or qualifying as a professional investor. Compared with retail clients, investors who qualify as Wholesale Clients may, subject to applicable regulatory requirements and product eligibility criteria, gain access to a broader range of investment products and opportunities, including selected private market investments, structured investments, and other strategies that are generally not available to ordinary retail investors.
